Oh, no, no, no. Some, but some were surprises. I just wasted some time making the names random.

 

There are a couple notable omissions (Santo and Phil Cavarretta are the big ones), but they are purposeful. Unlike those on my list, Santo doesn't fit the thread.

So Caleb Joseph of the Orioles went on the DL with a testicular injury after he took a foul tip in the nuts.

That trade ultimately didn't bring a whole lot to the plate. 

 

Garza had a few unremarkable years with the Cubs.  The other guy we received never made it to the bigs.

 

Garza was traded and the only guys still with us from that trade are Grimm and CJ Edwards (Jr). 

 

On the Tampa side, only Archer panned out.  Fuld and Chirinos both became bit players for other teams.  Lee was just mentioned.

 

Hindsight being 20/20, that trade fizzled down to getting Grimm & Edwards for Archer.
