Well, they do have plenty of young pitching prospects, and the Reds need exactly that. Position player-wise the entire organization is a black hole.

I just don't see how they think they are gonna compete with Det, KC, and CLE. What's the point of getting Frazier if you aren't gonna be competitive? Don't get me wrong, fuck the sox, I hope they lose 100 games. I just don't understand the reasoning.

As long as Kenny Williams is running the show there (it's never really been Hahn) they will continue to delude themselves into going all-in on an annual basis. And it's only year 2 of their 3 year plan, which they only concocted after last season's miserable failure.

I don't follow their farm system closely enough, but other than Fulmer what pitching prospects do they have?  Or are you including Fulmer, Rodon, Sale, and Quintana in that?

Yes, mostly including MLB talent. I don't follow their system much either.
