Quote:Jays sign Happ to a three year deal. If his second half this year wasn't a fluke, this could be a really great signing for the Jays.

Quote:$36 mil seems really high. It does indeed. It helps that he pitched out of his mind with the Pirates.

Or a really bad one.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

That's a pretty reasonable deal, and wouldn't have minded the Cubs signing him for 5 years.

I agree. I would have had no problem with that deal from the Cubs. I'm guessing Zimmerman didn't want to wait and be left in the position Shields was in last year.

Also of note, the Tigers had a protected first round pick. I think they pick 9th.
Signature.

Also, no way the Dodgers would do this. That said, Miller's name sure is popping up in numerous trade rumors lately. Would love to add him in the right deal.

Why wouldn't the Dodgers trade Pederson for Miller? I think the Braves would be dumb to do that. But, when you consider the OF logjam that LA still has and the fact the Pederson is the only one that has value right now, I could see them doing that.
I know the picture is of Seager, I agree there is no way the Dodgers would do that. |
