MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
https://twitter.com/Jomboy_/status/11943...37952?s=20

Alright, I thought this was interesting enough to discuss...

Pretty blatant in my opinion, especially when you see more examples in that tweet's thread. I guess stealing signs is generally accepted as "part of the game", but using technology to do it? Could get interesting...

Anyone give a fuck?

Fuck the Astros.  That team is talented enough, why cheat on top of it?

If they're using a center field camera to do this, it is shady as fuck. They've always seemed like they've been able to tell when pitchers are tipping their pitches better than any other team in the league. Makes sense now.

If you know what pitch is coming you have a HUGE advantage. MLB needs to crack down on this shit.

Sign sterling has always been part of game but technology enabled steeling is a big no no. As tech has become more advanced and ubiquitous that distinction is becoming increasingly ludicrous and more difficult to enforce.

He wasn't just the president of the hair club for men, he was also a client.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

After reading this piece, how does Luhnow still have a job? I had completely forgotten about many of these details.

List of minor league affiliates proposed by MLB for possible contraction. No Cubs affiliates being considered, unless I missed something. Still a sad state of affairs.

Jomboy gives a run down of how the Astros were stealing signs. Interesting watch. I was all in with Espada being the Cubs manager, now have done a 180 on the whole thing now.

Yikes, 21 felony charges for Vazquez.  He won't be pitching for a long time.

I agree with Bernie 100% here. I can't believe how short-sighted this move would be.
