Sounds like McClendon is out in Seattle. Add that to the openings in Miami, San Diego, & Washington.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Pirates fans are being really fucking annoying by constantly comparing the Utley slide to the Coghlan slide.
While I 100% favor changing the rules so that neither slide would be "clean" going forward, Coghlan's slide was well within the rules and was a classic example of a takeout slide. Utley's tackle was not.

Quote:Pirates fans are being really fucking annoying by constantly comparing the Utley slide to the Coghlan slide. Add that Pirate Fan Urban Legend to the compendium that houses "Maddon is an aggressive douche" and "Arrieta is a roidhead who benefited from an unequally large strike zone."

Quote:He is one of our head scouting guys, isn't he? From the Trib: Quote:Wilken joined the Cubs in December of 2005 as the director of amateur and professional scouting and was responsible in the signing of Andrew Cashner, Darwin Barney, Jeff Samardzija, Josh Donaldson, Josh Harrison, D.J. LeMahieu and Javier Baez. He was special assistant to Hoyer in his most recent role.

Not much of the pre-Ricketts crew left on the baseball side.
And how many guys on the post season roster were brought into the organization under Hendry? Castro...who else?

Baez.

It appears he was being marginalized from the get go.

Castro and Hendricks were also a Hendry picks. Alcantara as well, but it appears he's not going to pan out.
