Now that I actually saw him in a Sox uni, I agree. Fuck him too.

Garza's response after being demoted to the pen.
Quote:"I'm not going to throw another ball, and that's it," Garza said. "If I wasn't a good team guy, I'd just ask to go home. I've got four kids and a wife pregnant with two. I don't know. I haven't made a decision yet. I'll go from there."

Man that's funny. Fuck him sideways.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Quote:"It's a decision made from up top, and that's it," Garza said. "We have an acting GM, and in three to four months, I'll be introducing myself to a new one. That's all I've got." Good thing he's a good team guy.

""I'm not going to throw another ball, and that's it."
Good team guy. Almost Matt Harvey good.

We could only hope to have such champions on our team. Happy that Garza pitched his way out of town and into such an ideal situation.

Him be the doosh.

What an asshole. If I was the Brewers, I'd make him warm up to pitch every game, but, never use him ?

If he refuses to play the rest of the year, do teams have any recourse in regards to his contract? If he refuses to play I would think that would be a violation of his contract.

They could probably force his hand, but he's under contract for 2 more years and they're not going to be able to move him with the numbers he put up this year. From their perspective, there's not much to be gained by humbling him and making him pitch relief in games that don't matter.

Why even move him to the pen then? Why not just have him keep starting?
09-06-2015, 06:53 PM
2 reasons. I read that he has an incentive of $500K for 30 starts, so they don't want to pay that. The other is that you can let other guys get some starts to try them out.

At this point the Brewers are going to have to pay someone to take him off their hands.
