Not at what Arrieta was asking for prior to Phillies deal. Jake was a stud for Cubs and helped lead club out of NL Central cellar

The Darvish story is still being written, and 4+ years still remain on his contract, but even if he gives us 2-3 years of ~2 WAR production (2019 currently at 1.4 bWAR/1.1 fWAR) which is roughly 1/2 of his pre-Cubs average value, I think his deal will look very reasonable in retrospect.

When was Cervelli released? I'm sure now that we'll face him in the playoffs with the Braves, and he will do something really annoying in a very big moment.
