MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
Jesus Christ this fucking front office.  So crap ass.  A real front office would have dealt for Price and given up prospects instead of just waiting for the off season to sign him.

Price would be a sweet pickup, but you have to worry about the mileage on his arm and the amount of money it's going to take to land him...

I for one am extremely excited that we didn't mortgage the farm at the first sniff of a one game playoff against Garrett Cole.

So did I read it correctly that Bronson Arroyo was flipped (again) as part of the LA/ATL/MIA three-way? That's twice this year just for financial reasons. Remember when some local hack writers were clamoring for him last year?

someone said on twitter that he's basically his own currency now and is currently trading at 1.5 times the value of the Euro.

So the umps stopped the Padres/Mets game at Citi Field with two outs in the ninth and an 0-1 count on Derek Norris, as it started raining in buckets and lightning was in the area. After the 44-minute delay, Norris singles (on an 0-2 count after fouling off several pitches), Matt Kemp singles, and Justin Upton hits a three-run homer. During all that action, it started raining again, and they're in another delay heading into the bottom of the ninth, Mets down 8-7.

Ah, baseball.

One dick can poke an eye out. A hundred dicks can move mountains.

And fuck the Mets

Heyman reporting that Sox are in on Upton and Cespedes.  Who exactly are they going to trade to get either of them?  I call bullshit.

Nothing would shock me at this point. I called their season over 2-3 weeks ago, so what do I know?

So their winning streak is your fault?
