That doesn't seem like anything close to market value for him. Hopefully that works out as well as the Braun extension did for them.

That's a massive discount if it's accurate.

It appears that Chris Sale's elbow has finally succumbed to years of abuse.

Quote:It appears that Chris Sale's elbow has finally succumbed to years of abuse. I'm surprised it held out as long as it did. His skinny frame combined with his violent delivery seemed like the perfect recipe for TJ surgery.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Ok.....

Sure seems like opening day and the first few months of the season will be affected because of COVID-19, despite MLB largely being silent.

Yeah this is getting crazy. The Warriors and Nets are playing in front of zero fans tomorrow night. It's only a matter of time before MLB does the same.

Cubs have a ton of home games in March/April - 18 games or 44% of all home schedule - which will likely be affected. No clue how games without fans will affect team. Not good omen for a team that last season won games at home and lost on road.
Guessing that ticket holders will be told that rather than refund, their funds will be held as deposit for 2020 playoff tickets.

Yeah, that's "only" 22% of the home schedule, but can't expect any refunds either. Also, how soon will the London games be cancelled/postponed?

Somewhat concerned MLB would consider still playing the games in London but in an empty stadium so schedule wouldn’t be “redrawn”.

NCAA tournament to be played without fans. This is nuts.
