I liked Brenly in his original run on radio, but when he worked the TV booth, he got increasingly bolder in his shitting on the the Cubs Latin players (Soriano, Zambrano, Castro, and especially Ramirez). I was thrilled to see his racist ass go.

I always thought he hated women. He'd joke about his wife and he'd always come off as pretty misogynistic to me.

Yeah in hindsight I remember him being tough on Soriano, but thought it was more about the general bullshit about supposedly not living up to his contract.  Now it's pretty clear he had specific targets.
