Quote:If you go strictly by stats, there isn't a Cubs player that should be starting. But I'll be damned if two Cardinals start ahead of them. Quote:It would be sort of embarrassing if Castro made the team this year. But just think of how valuable a trade chip a four-time all star would be.

If Rizzo isn't an All-Star, I don't think I've ever seen an All-Star.

Quote:If Rizzo isn't an All-Star, I don't think I've ever seen an All-Star. He definitely deserves to be there. However, both Gonzalez and Goldschmidt have better numbers than him. They have higher BA, HR, RBI and OPS. *shrug*

I'm not going to celebrate that. The last time I celebrated a Cardinal injury they turned into the best team in the history of the sport.

I should say that I'm happy that the Royals are doing better than the Sox, just that I'm surprised by it. Maybe the whole state if Missouri is dealing with the devil.

People seem to forget that the Royals almost won the WS last year. I'm not sure why people are surprised with how good they are.
