I think it's time to start considering the possibility that there will not be a Major League Baseball season in 2020.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

At minimum, I would bet money against the season starting on time.

Meanwhile, if it was to have been played, today's Cubs game has been rained out.
Hopefully they play again before 2021.

Delaying the season sucks but required. Just hope that virus is controlled and delay is only the first 2 weeks of season.
According to ESPN website, the Cubs new opener would be on Friday, 10 April Cards @ Cubs 1:20.

It's going to be interesting to see how this time is remembered down the line. There's a chance this is all an overreaction, but if (god willing) it appears that way in a month or two, it could very well be that all these measures prevented a catastrophe.
