MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)

People still wear visors? They should be banned unless you are an accountant from the 1930's.

A Marlin isnt a flounder. Weve got to get it going.

But a flounder is a fish.  So in a round about way...

I could definitely support that.

It was pleasant to see the Cards lose in extras tonight. I think they had the entire team on the infield and the Mets managed to score on an infield single anyway. Delicious.

Thanks for the heads up. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the highlights. It's especially fun to see them choking against a team we just curb-stomped.

Don't look now but the Sux are above .500. I'd be lying if I said this was surprising.

It surprises me.

They've won six in a row...against really bad teams.  Hopefully they start getting beat up again by the better teams.  But I do think they were playing worse than they actually are..

I don't think Shark is the pitcher everyone thought he was. He's looking pretty mediocre. Sale sucked to start the season, but you knew he would right the ship eventually. But they've played good baseball lately. I don't expect it to last...

I think they are an 80-85 win team with poor defense and shitty fundamentals, but still a lot of talent. I wouldn't trade the Cubs future for theirs, ever, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the Sox made a run. Still a very tough division though.

I think 85 wins is optimistic.  .500 feels more likely.

Tigers, Twins, and Royals are all better than them in that division.
