With it appearing that Travis Wood is moving to the bullpen - the guy the Cubs traded to acquire Wood is about to have another shoulder surgery which may just put an end to his career.

 

Sean Marshall was a stud of a set up man. Dusty Baker most likely abused him with having him appear in 73 games in 2012 - his first year with the Reds.  Since then, Marshall appeared in 16 games in 2013 and 15 games in 2014.

Not to defend Dusty, but I don't think it's fair to put the blame on him.  When he was with the Cubs, Marshall made 80 appearances in 2010 and 78 in 2011.
