I wonder if Freddie Gray's hands were tied.

I fully expect Hawk to blame the poor play of the Good Guys on the riots at some point. Not only that, but concoct an elaborate theory about the rioters being against the Sox somehow and planning the riot on the same date as this series in order to screw them over.
