The Rangers are on the verge of acquiring right-hander Yovani Gallardo from the Brewers, sources tell FOX Sports Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi. Earlier today, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation tweeted the Rangers could be adding a starting pitcher. Morosi tweets Jurickson Profar is not part of the package heading to Milwaukee.

Also sounds like Scherzer could end up with the Nats.

Also said Shields is seeking 5 years and 125 million. A team would be nuts to give him that.

Yeah I saw Rosenthal reporting they'll be looking to sign one of the big arms.  I don't see that happening.
