Since it's not the Cubs it'll be just a 15-day stint and he will come back and dominate, leading the Yankees to a WS crown.  In 3 years he will announce that he is opting out of his contract to sign a 1-year (with 9 team options) $5,000,000 deal to stay with the Yankees.

Or the Yankees are going to pay $108M for 2.5 years of effective Tanaka (assuming he needs TJ and won't be back to 100% until Opening Day 2016).
Check it out as I hilariously fail at Cubs blogging.

Torn ligament in Molina's thumb.   Out 8-12 weeks.  That's a shame.

It's been a satisfying week for our nemeses.

Sounds like Tanaka has what is being described as a "small" UCL tear.  Doesn't sound like Tommy John surgery is a must, but it's an option.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

We'll see in 6-weeks.  If he ends up needing TJS, that would have to be pretty devasting if you're a Yankees fan.  I said it before, bullet dodged.

None of this means anything until Braun has a season (or career) ending injury or gets suspended for roiding again.

We may have fucked the Reds up this series despite losing 4/5.

Brewers are calling up their top prospect to join the rotation.

Soto arrested for possession of pot. Kind of a non-story, but the fact that he got caught again is sort of hilarious.

He should request a trade to the Rockies or Mariners.
