I don't get it. Why would you give up anything of serious value for Peavy unless the White Sox are picking up a significant amount of his salary? He's always hurt and is owed a ton of money.

From what I understand, none of the prospects Boston gave up were in their top 20, so I guess this isn't such a great deal for the Pale Hose.

I love the Sox taking a load to the face but I'm never really going to get used to teams treating absolutely every victory like they just won the pennant. Whatever happened to acting like you've done this before? Das right...das right...we bad. That's a lot cooler.

My question is, who came up with beating the shit out of the guy that just won the game for you? How did that thought process work? Hey, one of my teammates just hit a HR to win the game for us, lets go out to meet him at homeplate and beat the shit out of him.
