MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
What the hell is it with the Yankees? Cashman is unhappy with what Steinbrenner made him give up to get Alf. Then Cashman takes this to the media? What a fucked up organization. I couldn't fucking stand the Cubs if Ricketts started behaving like that.

I used to think Cashman was the good guy for a long time, but ever since the Rafael Soriano signing a few years ago where he said the Steinbrenners overruled him and he cried to the media like a little bitch. Now this? How does this man keep his job? You know he'd never survive in another organization.

Soriano had a really nice game with the Yankees. 4 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBIs.

Frank Castillo drowned over the weekend at only 44. When I was a teen I foolishly believed he would be the next Greg Maddux.

For whatever reason, MLB hasn't allowed embedding on this video, but more Hawk golden silence.  The best part is the disgusted sigh at 0:45.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

I'm really enjoying his golden years.

That never ceases to bring me joy. It takes him a good 20 seconds before he can even bring himself to say a single word.

Also, Giambi has gotten rather portly.

Listening to Hawk when the Sox lose has got to be my favorite guilty pleasure.

I hope he never retires.
