First Holliday, now Hamilton. Fuck the fantasy world.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Just be thankful you don't have Longoria too.

Isn't Holliday back now?

Out 6-8 weeks.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Injured on a headfirst slide at home, tagging from 3rd base on a foul popup to the third baseman... I'm guessing the 3rd base coach will catch some heat.

Hamilton out with a broken arm. Sounds like a strange break. High on the arm, near the shoulder and only picked up by MRI not the initial x-rays.

I broke my arm up there in a skiing accident. It can't be put in a cast. You can only baby it in a sling till it heals.

Carpenter had a worse night than Russell.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

The Reds just scored 6 in the top of 11th and lead the Padres 8-2.

I feel like a broken record over the years, but seriously, why the fuck to home plate umpires insist on calling a strike on a check swing instead of just using the base umpire? Is it really that hard? Bob Davidson did it twice to Miguel Montero last night (and from the angle behind the pitcher, I don't think he went on either one). I think that should be a suspend-able offense from an umpire, it's just unfair and unnecessary.
The thing you need to remember is that all Cardinals fans and all White Sox fans are very bad people. It's a fact that has been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Being a Cubs fan is the only path to rightousness and piousness. Cardinal and White Sox fans exist to be the dark, diabolical forces that oppose us. They are the yin to our yang, the Joker to our Batman, the demon to our angel, the insurgence to our freedom, the oil to our water, the club to our baby seal. Their happiness occurs only in direct conflict with everything that is pure and good in this world.

This is troublesome. While the cubs are throwing piggy back games around the reds just keep finding ways to win. I hate Dusty and don't think he could lead a dog to a bone, but damn to hell if they don't look like the best team in the division, and it isn't close. Gross.

I just saw video of Chapman's inning. He got two called stricke 3s and a pop up. On the last out, pitch tracker showed a fastball on the exact upper outside corner to a lh hitter. I think last year in San Diego, he had the inning where every pitch was 100 mph+. He must love that place.
I like you guys a lot.

Worse part of that game was the Padres had two chances to win the game with a runner at third with less than two outs and couldn't get it done. Sound familiar?

You're not insinuating that our own lovable Chicago Cubs do that on occasion are you???

Sox bullpen blew another one. Apparently Matt Thornton needs to stick to the set up role.

He's blown every save opportunity he's had so far. Not so good.

Not so good? It's fucking phenomenal!

The only thing better is watching Pierre do his part by contributing his stellar defense to every blown save, and now Guillen taking veiled shots at KW for not giving him a closer.
