I don't have a whole lot of faith in their bullpen.

I had a co-worker yesterday come by saying "Brewers in the World Series" after they hit back-to-back homeruns to start the game.

I see he's kind of quiet today

on a side note, I work in Milwaukee
I just want to drink beer and play atari

Yep. It's ridiculous. Never sit in the bleachers there, I'm warning all of you. It's gang mentality, literally.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Never walk through the parking lot there.

Not necessarily. It depends. The rowdy/Raider style/gang member Dodger fans sit in the bleachers mostly, and the way the Dodgers have partitioned the parking lot now, you park where you sit. So the lots in the outfield are just as bad as the bleachers after games.

After reading the comments on that LA Times articles I wouldn't go there for a free ticket and a thousand dollar bill. I'm talking about the comments from disgusted Dodger fans talking about how bad it is...from thugs rationalizing the assault...from the woman that got punched in the face and from the person that knows the victim.

Fuck the whole team, stadium and fan base. Fuck the city and the ownership for not managing the situation appropriately.

That's what they do. They interviewed guys yesterday on TV, "well they need to expect that when they come to our ballpark."

Seriously? I mean I totally get that Giants fans are douches. It's a fact. But that doesn't justify bashing their faces in the asphalt, MS-13 style in the middle of a parking lot.

Exactly. When that's right out there in the open then the city and ownership has a responsibility. Enough cops is enough cops to prevent this. Thousands, if need be.

I think I remember Destined's van was vandalized at a Dodgers game back in 08 because he had a Cubs sticker on it.

Yeah for Game 3 of the NLDS. I had a Cubs license plate frame and a car flag. My window broke and wouldnt roll down, so I had to leave the flag up. We came back after the game and some asshole had snapped it off. And last year, I drove my dads truck to a game, and he had a stool he leaves in the bed of the truck. It had been there for years, no problem. Well it was stolen. I mean both situations could have been prevented, but who the fuck takes a stool?

So those incidents, among others reasons, have caused me to boycott the Dodgers. I buy tickets off Stubhub so I don't fuel McCourt's fire, I refuse to buy concessions, and starting this year I'm planning on not parking in the ravine.

There was a stabbing of a Giants fan a few years ago in a similar situation. But yeah it's been like this for a while.
