This.

Dare I say that had AJ Fuckface also left the Sox, I could almost go back to my days of ignoring the Great Satan of the south.

You read it here first: when called from the pen at home games, before heading to the mound, Jenks will down a steaming crock of baked beans to the strains of the Standells' "Dirty Water." It'll become his signature.

I don't know that it's been confirmed, but there are reports that the Brewers have acquired Greinke.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Former Cy Young Award winner Zack Greinke has been traded to the Milwaukee Brewers, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney on Sunday morning.

In the deal, the Royals are reportedly acquiring Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain, shortstop Alcides Escobar and prospect pitchers Jake Odorizzi and Jeremy Jeffress for the 27-year-old Greinke, 10-14 with a 4.17 ERA in 2010 after winning the 2009 Cy Young.

The Brewers were expected to receive another major leaguer in the deal. Jim Breem of the blog "Bernie's Crew" reported that player to be shortstop Yuniesky Betancourt.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Hard to not think of the Brewers as the favorites in the division.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

I think that depends on what they end up doing with Fielder, but they are clearly better than the end of last year.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

Figures.

Their top three pitchers are great. Braun, Weeks and Fielder are awesome. Their main weakness is defense. It looks to me like there going for it while they still have Prince around.

Bold move. Must be nice.

Fuck Milwaukee. They'll find a way to fuck this up.

At the same time, watching our small market competitors improve by leaps and bounds while we sit around holding our dicks and jizz all over ourselves for taking advantage of a sentimental Wood, pisses me off to no end.

The only one I know is Escobar. Are the others in the deal a big haul for the Royals?

Easily the worst news of the last few offseasons. We need a Garza trade even more now.
