Putz and Thorton to DL.
Kind of tough when the solid side of the bullpen goes to shit in mass. Granted they've been hurt for a bit but oh well.
Anyone see the White Sox having a Cubs-like season? Going from sucking/mediocre to outstanding to mediocre to sucking in the same season.

Now I REALLY hope they get Manny, and ends up having the same effect on the team as Griffey had a few seasons ago.
I hear that the feud between KW and Ozzie is getting more interesting these days, and they could actually part ways at the end of the season.

Once again their farm is so depleted I don't know who they could possibly give up to get Manny. With the exception of Chris Sale, they have nothing.

I don't think the Dodgers would ask for much at this point, and would probably be happy to get a chunk of his salary off of their books.

I believe the Dodgers are still on the hook for that. The Sox are sending the Dodgers cash for Manny's 2010 remaining salary, so it is technically still a trade, not a pure waiver claim and full salary assumption, from what I understand.

Is Sox nation really excited about this? I just don't understand how they could be. I say he hits one home run, and ends up spending most of his time in the press box with Cy Peavy.
