I thought the Nats had an overload of OFers, and he was in the minors.
I like you guys a lot.

Yep, he has been a AAA OF for awhile now.
Actually, I just saw where he went down to the Nats AAA team ( I assume that is AA for real teams) today after striking out in 6 of his 15 ABs for Washington.

The Cubs are pretty lucky that Larussa could not get along with Scott Rolen. He is having a great season, and the guy the Cards replaced him with is hurt. I see that he has made a couple of great plays in today's game, plus had a game tying single.
The Cubs are probably also lucky Joey Votto was hurt. He has just hit a go ahead homer and is 4 for 4.

Pujols hit a 2R HR in the first inning with a runner on 2nd and 1 out. Is it just me or does it seem incredibly stupid to pitch to him in that situation with a base open, even if it is the first inning.

That puts him up to 28 HR already......I'd be real hesitant to pitch to him.

Seriously, me and Clapp have talked about this before...WHY THE FUCK DO YOU PITCH TO HIM?! You didn't pitch to Bonds, and you don't pitch to Pujols. It's not fucking rocket science.
