Thanks again everybody, you have no idea how much you've all helped. And yeah, I could care less about hits right now but like Andy said, it will allow more people to see what he's all about. It's the top story on deadspin with a picture of him playing some baseball at the beach so that was really cool. It's also been picked up by some local news websites and whatnot, and gonna be published in a local newspaper.

One of the reasons I decided to do it because my Mom told me how his mom was sobbing on the phone saying how the news articles were listing him as a law student, and he had already started being a sports agent. They wanted him to be recognized that way, so now people are seeing that.

I can't even explain how awful I feel for you, bud. I'm so glad that so many people are getting the opportunity to read your tribute, it sound like Henry really deserved to be heard about. It's such a fantastic piece too, without question the best thing I've ever read of yours. You should be proud to have honored him so well.

I have a really hard time with these kind of posts, but this is spot on the way I feel. I must have read it 5 or 6 times today and I get teary eyed every time. I'm so sorry Clapp, and this is a beautiful way to preserve Henrys memory.

Matt Murton has had a hard-luck career. And it continues: despite hitting over .300 this ST, the Rockies sent him down. His first game in AAA, he puts up a typical Murton line: a home run and a walk. He's too good for AAA, he's better than any AAAA player I can think of, but he can't catch on with a MLB club.

I know he's deeply hated by many on this board, but I kind of feel for the guy.

Sorry, but that isn't anywhere close to a typical Murton line, and especially not while he was up in the majors. There's a reason why he won't catch on with a ML team. He is a corner OF with little power and serious defensive deficiencies. Now, if he made that much talked about move over to 2B, then I'm willing to change my view of him.

Looks like Piniero is picking up right where he left off. The Cardinals are going to be a royal pain in the ass this season.

He went 7-7 with a 5.18 ERA last year. I figured this Cards team would be good and our biggest competition, but they're 3-2 at home against the Pirates and what looks like a much worse Astros team than last year. Carpenter looked great for sure, but can he keep it up for a whole season and can he pitch that well against a team that will win over 70 games?

Solid team for sure, but I can't see them winning over 90 even if most everything goes their way.
