There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

It may not matter if Wellemeyer, Pinero and Lohse come back down to earth. Don't get me wrong, this isn't good news, but watching the Cards a little bit over the past 3 days, and seeing how shitty their pen is, they're starting to worry me much less than they did during ST.

They have released the names of everyone involved in the accident now. Hopefully Clapp's buddy was not involved..

I just lost a dear, dear friend to esophageal cancer (he was 33) on Tuesday, so I'm channeling all my hope that this isn't your friend, Clapp.

Unfortunately I got word from Clapp that it was his friend.

He is headed to California for the funeral I think.

Its awful how many people something like this can affect. My thoughts are with you Clappy.
