Apparently they don't or they don't care.  I'm so sick of them and their fans thinking they are owed everything.  There's a lot of Yankees haters out there, but no way are they more annoying that the Cardinals.

Yankees fans from New York don't bother me all that much. People like my mother-in-law, who have never lived in New York and have no connection to New York whatsoever, but are just Yankees fans because they have the most rings; those are the ones I'm not all that fond of.

Butch, that's how my old roommate is.  From Central Illinois, yet somehow became a "die hard" Yankees fan, having attended a grand total of one Yankees game his entire life.  When he starts blathering about them I want to tell him to stfu.
