Don't know if it was mentioned somewhere, but Red Sox manager John Farrell was diagnosed with Stage I lymphoma. Shitty. Lovullo will manage the team for the rest of the season.

Interesting sidestory, BP Wrigleyville canned one of their writers for tweeting "John Farrell must have gotten cancer after having to watch the Red Sox play..." or something to that effect.
