Minnie Monoso passed away


The Cuban Comet lived blocks away from Wrigley for years. My wife lived in the same complex. Minnie would talk baseball with anyone around. He loved the sport.

I believe he lived in the New York on Waveland, right? I lived around the corner on Pine Grove, and I would occasionally see his car (decked with White Sox flags and a personalized license plate) pull into the New York's parking garage.
