I don't see anything wrong with a guy expecting those around him to act like professional baseball players.
I don't either. I do see something wrong with bashing every organization that's in your rear view mirror and calling out former teammates in the media. Be a man and confront those not acting professional while you're on the team. It's cowardly to do it to the media once you don't have to be around those individuals anymore.

Do you know that he didn't? And he didn't call anyone out by name, you could infer that Chapman was the closer taking a nap until the 7th, but that's about it.

Nope. But I do know that it's not wise to talk bad about a previous employer. Burning bridges is never wise. He just sounded like a malcontent to me.

Burning bridges is a lot easier when you've earned +$20 million and probably will get another $50-100 million in year. But then again, if my employer paid me that kind of scratch, I probably wouldn't have any bridges to burn.

But it's kind of a dickhead move to call out your teammates after the fact. Maybe he should have done it before the fact.

Imagine what names everyone would have been calling him if he did make noise in the press while he was still on the Reds.

Can we all just agree that Latos is a douche for multiple other reasons?

Yep. Even if he hadn't been in the NL Central, I'd still dislike him.

Dammit, I was hoping it would be something much more severe and irreparable.

Hopefully it's just the beginning.  I try not to wish ill on any players because karma can be a bitch, however, I would love for the Cardinals to have recurring issues with Wainright and Wacha all year.

They're not telling the truth about the rosin bag that was found lodged in his rectum.

I can't get my head around that... I think the best/creepiest part is the guy is looking at us. I love it?

  • Veteran southpaw Rich Hill has agreed to a minor league deal with the Nationals, the club announced. Hill, who has appeared in parts of ten MLB seasons, will receive an invite to big league camp. Soon to turn 35, Hill has long been effective against lefties but rather susceptible to opposite-handed bats, with good strikeout numbers in recent years offset by a hefty accumulation of free passes.

The Nationals rotation gets even better. I didn't think that was possible.

He'll be spending all of his time now getting that wiggly feel.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Chris Sale broken foot, to probably miss the start of the season. I am truly shocked by this.

That's a shame.

One thing I an interested in hearing come each spring training is the odd injuries that happen. So far we have a sprinkler and a pool to blame.
