I actually think a remake of They Live is a pretty good idea. It's a really good concept, but some shitty acting, bad music, and a first act that lasted entirely too long killed it. A lot of the writing was pretty cheesy, too.

I'm with you 100% on They Live. It was a great concept and had its moments, but overall the movie was poorly made and written. A remake could be excellent with the right actor (hopefully not The Rock or some other washed up former wrestler) and better writers, as long as it doesn't turn into an R-rated Men In Black.
