I finally conected my iphone to my car, and listened to episode 79 today. More than just commercial free sports talk, it was a great show and laugh out loud funny. When you guys were talking about staring at each other, I realized the sound was amazing. It was like you were in the studio together. However later on, Butch seemed to get quieter (maybe not talking into the mic) and I had to turn up the volume to hear him. Nice job. I will listen to 80 tomorrow, and hope that 81 comes soon.
I like you guys a lot.

Thanks, leonard. I'm glad you're tuning in. Yeah...sometimes I forget to speak right into the microphone and that screws up the sound. I'm not the professional that Rappy is.

Thanks, Lenny...I've been playing with the edit during the last few shows, and probably did more harm than good.

All should be working better during our next show...and thanks again!

Hey guys I am a huge fan of the podcast!! You guys have encouraged my brother, our friend Dan, and myself to put out our own podcast. Its not as good as yours, but we are still getting the hang of it.

I was just wondering what type of recording equipment you use. We record mine on my MacBook and the sound is not the best.

Keep up the good work guys! And only 18 days till opening day! Go Cubs in 09 BABY!

Thanks Guys!

Thanks, man. Are you using the microphone supplied on your computer? Evan and I use external microphones with pre-amps. Evan does this kind of crap for a living (voiceovers and whatnot), so he has all of the good hardware/software.

Good luck with the podcast. Man...we need to get back into the groove. It's been a while since we've done a show...

Yeah we are just using the mic that is on my laptop. It works out ok with garage band, but sometimes the sound gets a little fuzzy (especially when we play music).

Thanks, Lou...I'll PM you with some info, and we can talk about hardware choices. You can do pretty nicely...fairly simply.
