Plus, this feud has been going on for years. I don't take anything that they say about each other too seriously. They hate each other but love the Cubs (at least one does IMO), so these antics aren't surprising.

I'm a pretty gigantic PJ fan and wasn't aware of any hatred between the two of them. Some of PJ's earliest shows were opening for the Pumpkins and they have played together. I'm pretty sure this was an off the cuff remark that is being given way too much credence. Plus he's a washed up douche (he is a total nutjob as evidenced by this last Pumpkins tour)

I've always liked the Pumpkins much more than PJ. But Corgan is a total cocksucker. He was a piece of shit when I saw them in concert in the 90's and he's still a piece a shit. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably a duck. That said, I'll still enjoy listening to his music.

I was at one of the Chicago concerts. It was terrible. He whined like a little baby and cited Cubs fans booing as the reason they haven't won the world series in so long. Dude has some serious confidence issues.
As for the Vedder thing, I didn't even read it. At least he's still producing good music. Corgan just needs to go away.

the last 2 pumpkins shows in chicago were amazing. in my opinion billy thought eddie vedder started showing his cub love publicly just when they were getting a lot of buzz about "going all the way" and the media ate it up. billy goes to a bunch of games every year and follows the team pretty hard core. was it pithy? yes. is he a diva sometimes? definitely. he has a weird complex about being passed over by the media in general and when something like this happens he takes it to heart.
music still rocks though

If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy
