Soriano makes the list??? I dunno about that one. I think it's gotta be Billy as an overwhelming #1 and Kingman is worthy of a top 3 spot.
Palmiero didn't play long enough as a Cub to deserve it IMHO and there's no way Stephenson is better than Billy...

He was either a part-time player or he was always hurt. He only had over 500 ABs three times in his career.

I honestly don't know much about the guy -- but Billy Williams had over twice as many ABs than Stephenson in only four more seasons.

Hurt yes, but he was the starting LF for all 9 years for the Cubs.

Compare their MVP voting.

Stephenson -- he was in the running three times (20th, 23rd, and 5th).

Williams -- he was in the running eight times (18th, 12th, 8th, 23rd, 2nd, 21st, 2nd, and 29th).

Stephenson might deserve some consideration, but Williams was in a class by himself when it comes to Cub LFers.
