I loved watching Bradley play. He is an intense competitor and does all the little things you like to see in a baseball player. He reminded me a lot of a young Eric Davis. A lot of his injuries are actually due to his balls out style of play.

That said, watching him play every day for 2 years I don't think I've ever seen a player argue more with the umps or be restrained more by his teammates. He is a constant roller coaster.

That's exactly what I was thinking. When people talk about Bradley, they seem to only talk about the negatives that come from the fired-up intensity. I think the Cubs are in desperate need of such intensity.

Fat Bastard has been a regular at Cub games since the early 80's when he tried several times (unsuccessfully) to eat the visiting San Diego Chicken.

Haha its funny that you mention that, at the time of the post I was trying to think up another word for chokers, but chokers was all that came to mind. Underperformers definitely works better.

And I liked what I saw during that press conference. He said he came here because he wants to win, and he knows that the team and the city expect to win, period.
I also thought he handled the questions about his past very well.
Although I don't expect much change in regards to his temper and such when he plays for us, I still think that he will tone it down a bit. Playing for a team that should win a lot of games should help him with that, seeing as he won't have as much to get pissed off about if we are winning games.

Although, I gotta say I LOVED the clip of him going over and talking shit to the Dodgers fans haha. You could see how scared they got when he slammed something down at their feet, it looked like they were about to book it the fuck out of there
