The 4 OF FA possibilities (Bradley, Ibanez, Dunn, Abreu) are really not that similar. Bradley has the most talent, but is the least likely to stay on the field. Abreu and Ibanez are terrible fielders, worse than Dunn.
Dunn is by far the youngest, and has been the most durable. He plays 160 games pretty much every year. He's also lost 20 lbs. and begged the Cubs to consider him.

But since he's not coming here, I'll turn my attention to MBradley. He's gonna be fun to watch. <b>He's a fucking great player.</b> He's cheaper than Fuk! I'm excited to see him in the middle of the order.

Just one question: who's going to start the other 60 games in RF?

It might be Miles sometimes. But it will probably more likely be moving Fuk over to RF and keeping Reed in CF. Or some such shit.

Agreed...there just HAS to be another shoe dropping. Trading DeRosa to make room for this particular player is backwards logic.

Couldn't agree more. The only way it makes sense is if it was the only way to get the necessary pieces to get Peavy. But even then, it doesn't appear we got equal value in return for DeRosa.

I'm not so sure about the equal value for DeRosa thing. We got a major league ready relief pitcher. And two A ball guys that judging from the k/ip numbers have really good arms. Archer has been mentioned specifically by Hendry as a prospect that he really likes. The one thing that this organization has shown the ability to develop is the power pitcher, I am willing to see wait and see what happens on this one. I also really think that we are overlooking how much Lou or Hendry want to get Fontenot in the lineup.

Pretty much how players aren't going to say otherwise. Aside from Thomas Jones, Terrell Owens, and Jeff Kunt, who really rips about guys they've played with? Anyway, him getting along with the teammates isn't what I'm worried about, it's getting along with the umpires, the fans, and staying healthy.
