Fleita said in an interview yesterday that Castillo should be starting out in AAA and more surprisingly, thinks Vitters should start in Daytona and not Peoria. Mainly because of the cold weather in Peoria early in the season. But, it'd be nice to see him starting in Daytona, I just hope the rest of the organization feels the same as Fleita about this......

Yeah, I commented on that on BN. Would love to see Vitters start out in Daytona this year (and succeed, of course).

I hope Vitters isn't in our system when the season comes around.

Well, strictly speaking, I hope he is - and we still get Peavy.

Yeah I'd love that to be the case but it sounded like Vitters was the key to the deal and the Padres still wouldn't do it, so I don't see how any deal involving Peavy could be done without Vitters.

I think Inside the Ivy purchased his contract so that they could include him in trade proposals for all of eternity.

If Vitters is ever going to play in Wrigley for the Cubs, I would prefer he started in Peoria. It is cold in Chicago in the spring, and he is going to need to learn in the hit in cold at some point. I would like for it to be in the minors, and not in Chicago as a rookie.
