No, you get 3 picks before everyone else picks, look at the draft order on your team page.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

CC...what's the difference between that, and keeping my keepers?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Since you have the 2nd overall pick, not much other than Clapp or Chitown could take one of the guys after you pick in the first couple rounds. Let me know which 3 you want to keep and I can set them, otherwise you can pick 3 from the pool of available players.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I think that sets me up with an unfair advantage...doesn't it?

Shouldn't I be restricted only to players on my team from last year?

If you want me to set 3 keepers for you, yes you would be restricted to three players from your team last year. There are strategic instances where it may make sense to not use 3 keepers... In my case I was worried about Morneau's injury, and I didn't think Phillips was worth a 3rd round pick, and I thought that I could find better value out of the pool of available players. I'm guessing that Gad only kept two players for a similar reason. I realize in your case (and Clapp and Chitown's) you guys probably had 3 guys worth keeping. If you guys want me to set 3 keepers, speak up and let me know so I can set them, otherwise, you get to use your first 3 picks to pick from the pool of available players.

Will get back to you ASAP.

If you want to go ahead and take Hanley with your first pick do it, I would. I have no one but myself to blame for not keeping him.

I don't think anyone has an issue with you guys being able to select your keepers even though the deadline is passed, so I'm giving you all the opportunity to do so prior to the draft. Just let me know what you want me to do, but please do so ASAP. I have other things that I need to deal with before this thing starts.

Wow, I drafted 5 White Sox players.

2 Sox for me. Zero Cubs.

I'll be the first to admit that the 2 hours wasn't terrible. Most people didn't use their full allotted time, which was great.
I got nothin'.

I'm just curious how long you expect a draft to last? That is one of the fastest drafts I've ever been a part of.

I thought it went pretty quickly too. We don't have as rounds in my other league, and it usually runs about 2 hours. Last year's draft got messed up because there was a problem with either the Java engine or Firefox, I don't remember exactly, but there were 2 minute or more delays happening on some people's computers. Of course, ESPN was aware of the problem, but they didn't let anyone know about it, so our draft got all kinds of messed up and took something like 3.5 hours.

I don't know why I didn't notice this during the draft, but why did the order switch at round 5?
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

NM, I see that it went in order for the first 3 and snaked after the keepers were selected.

It's a long season. Rapp will be bottom dwelling soon enough.
