When the regular season starts and players are actually placed on the DL in real life maybe?

The Java version already showed them on the DL, maybe we should have stuck with it.

Why? His crapness played a big part in you guys sweeping us.

About a year back Fella got mad at me for saying Soriano's contract was in the discussion for worst in baseball.. Sure there are other bad ones but his is in the discussion.. At the time he got mad at me... I wonder if he still feels that way.. lol
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Soriano is a great regular season player. He is overpaid sure, but certainly not the very worst contract in baseball like you told me last year.
I'd rather pay him twice what he is making before I paid what you guys are paying Pierre, Schmidt and Druw.

Forgot Darren Dreifort too. He brought the Blue Crew all those wins, didn't he.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

I need a bat that's not slumping since I'm last in every offensive category but SB's. I've got several good pitchers available: Lilly, Perkins, Billingsley, Josh Johnson, Zimmermann, Burnett, Maholm, etc. Fed up with some of my struggling bats: Ortiz, Holliday, Philips, Peralta, Davis, etc. and would be happy to include any of those guys in a deal for a good/great bat or two.

I have an extra outfielder, I'd probably be willing to deal one for a pitcher. I wouldn't deal Sizemore and probably not Ibanez since I think he is gonna have a huge year in that park, but anyone else would be a possibility. I have Abreu, Werth, Rios and Pence.

sadly, i think there are more than one owners who haven't seen it. i guess it's good for us, but i'd rather every team was active

I need a bat. I don't care what position, just someone that can help me in the HR department. Ted Lilly is available. Make me an offer.

I think the rules need some revisions. Here's what I have in mind:
1. If you haven't paid by the all-star break, your team is locked, and you get the last pick in the subsequent year's draft.
2. I think the draft order needs some tweaking. There is no incentive at all for teams that are out of it at this point to try and improve. It makes for a rather boring season in my book. I'd much rather have a draft lottery that awards teams for being competitive, for example by giving the teams that finish in the middle of the pack better shots at the #1 draft pick. I don't think the difference between the #1 overall pick and the #12 pick in the 4th round is as big as what it is in the first round, but it's significant enough. If anyone else has any suggestions, I'm all ears. I just really want to see everyone stay active and involved all season long. It makes things more fun and competitive for everyone.

A lottery can also encourage tanking to get better chances at the #1 pick, as it happens in the NBA often.
If teams get out of it early, they will quit.
So what is going to happen to the money pot if someone doesn't pay?

I would think that money would be a bigger incentive over tanking for draft picks.
