There was talk last week they were going to likely sign 2 and let them compete in ST for jobs, but no guaranteed deals. I don't think this dude would start for us, no way.

He'd have to be damn good to replace Marshall as our #5.
I look back at the Fuk signing and cringe...the White Sox actually made him a <i>better</i> offer, yet he chose us. Wheeee.
Just think, he could be causing heartburn for Hawk and Reinsdorf, and choking <i>their</i> salary structure. And they would never have made the trade for Carlos Quentin if they had landed Fuk.
Just a dark day in Chicago history, IMO.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

”American baseball is a different world. I’d like to start off by getting one win over there. I’ll need energy to challenge at my age but it is just a case of believing in myself,” the 39-year-old said. ”There aren’t that many left-handers over there either and that would be a plus for me.”

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
