I found it amusing as hell. Not the greatest comedy, but definitely worth a few laughs. Stoner comedies are hit (Half Baked) or miss (Smiley Face), so this obviously won't be for everyone. Still it was easily one of the funnier movies of 2008, though there weren't really many great ones either last year IMO. James Franco was surprisingly hilarious too.

I thought it was pretty good. Funny. Certainly not all that deep or anything that will go done as one of the best movies, but it was definitely funny.
I got nothin'.

See, I love stoner comedies Half Baked and Grandma's Boy are 2 of my favorite movies. This one was just too long and boring. Therer were some good lines, but nothing in it was redeeming enough to call the movie good or make me want to watch another second of it ever again. The fight bullshit at the end almost put me to sleep.

I thought the fight was hilarious, though a little overdone. The chase scene had me laughing harder than I can remember in a long time too. The Red character stole just about every scene too. I dunno, I'd definitely watch it again.

i got it on blu ray monday and watched it 2 nights in a row. the guy who plays red has a show coming up on HBO w/ Darryl from the office and will ferrell has a recurring character, i think it's being produced by funny or die. saw a brief thing on it and it looks like he still has that permed looking mullet. i wasn't as big a fan of foot fist way as i thought i'd be, but he was still good in it, i'm looking forward to the show.

I thought it was great, although I had enormous expectations for it, so I was actually a little let down. James Franco was great. The chase was funny.

spoilers!

Red was fucking awesome. I can't remember his exact line when he killed the guy from the office, but it was hysterical. And his complaints when being shot in the stomach killed me as well.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

I'm not sure why, but the fact that ruby hated this movie makes me want to really like it.

It's up next in my Netflix queue...

See, lines like that are funny, I totally agree. However, the half hour long fight scene preceding it was not.

There are some good lines in the movie, but the thing drug on so long and had so much stuff that added nothing, it just ruined it for me.

I also have the attention span of a gnat.

Did you guys watch the deleted scenes where Dale tells how he met Angie?

And I think the reason I really loved this movie was because I'm a huge fan of Freaks and Geeks. It was great to see them together again.
