It's amazing how much players make.
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Especially the shitty ones. I'd love to be mediocre at my job and still make a cool million. Fucking disgusting.

Didn't they just sign Eckstein?

Yeah but I thought I read they're wanting him to play second.

Yep. They said on Hot Stove that the Padres asked Eckstein which position he wanted to play, and he said at this stage of his career 2nd base is the better option. They also said on Tribune Live that Ronny's expected to be traded and brought up Aurilia again.

As much as people hate on intangibles here, it would be nice to Aurilia for the purpose of having another person with fire in their belly.
