Sorry. I can't help being a dick sometimes.
We just watched <i>The Savages</i> and it was really good. Philip Seymore Hoffman is such a good actor. The subject matter was really difficult, but the performances were so good, across the board, that it's really worth watching. I'm always pushing <i>After Hours</i> on people. It's a really dark comedy directed by Scorsese that a lot of people haven't seen. I'd put that high on your list if you haven't seen it.

I highly recommend Pinocchio 964
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

That's one of my all-time favorites. Also, check out David Lynch's movies if you haven't done so and are open to weird films. I would start with Eraserhead, then move on to stuff like Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, Lost Highway, and Mulholland Drive. Two older movies that you might be interested in are Network and Eyes Without a Face, which were ahead of their time, but are still fresh and original today.
