He'll hit in the regular season, he always does. That's not what I'm concerned about with him.

DLee is hitting a buck 82. I'm not really concerned with him either. Plus this is such a ridiculously long spring training, they could go through 2-3 slumps during it. 39 games is a quarter of a season. That's stupid long for ST. It should be like 20-25 games.
I got nothin'.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->The Cubs signed veteran infielder Esteban German to a minor league contract, but he has a chance to make the big league club because he has played six positions. The Royals released him this spring after he hit .245 in 89 games last year. … <b>Meanwhile, infielder Corey Koskie , who signed at the end of February, has not yet received medical clearance to play because of post-concussion syndrome. A final decision could come Saturday</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->With Mike Fontenot being named the regular second baseman Saturday, the Cubs' lineup is beginning to take shape with left-handed batters spread throughout.
Fontenot is the projected sixth hitter, with Kosuke Fukudome in second and Milton Bradley fourth.
"I don't want to get caught with two left-handed hitters sixth and seventh or sixth and eighth at the tail end of the lineup," manager Lou Piniella said. "So 2-4-6 is a real nice way to break things up."
In his fifth year with the Cubs after being traded from Baltimore in the Sammy Sosa deal, Fontenot never has been penciled in as a starter.
"I'm out here to just get on the field as much as possible, but with [Lou] saying that, it makes you feel good," he said. "But you have to keep coming out here every day and putting up numbers. You know how Lou is: He's going to play the hot hand."
Aaron Miles becomes the backup against left-handed pitchers and also will fill in at shortstop and third, with Piniella saying both would get about 350 at-bats.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->He hasn't played since July 2006 because of post-concussion syndrome, but Corey Koskie was cleared to play for the Cubs after a series of tests and drills. While he is in baseball shape, he may not see game action until late this week.
"I don't have any expectations," he said. "Whatever happens, happens. It's just nice to be here."<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Guzman should either be cut or traded. He looked absolutely lost today. I hate to say it, but he doesn't deserve a spot on this team. He's done.

Needs to be traded, anybody would take a chance on his arm, even though he'll never do anything with it.

Harden and Webb were each close to perfect in the first two innings but both gave up 3 runs in the 3rd.
Harden: 2.2 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 3 K
Webb: 3 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 2 K
Hoffpauir took Webb deep with a 3-run shot, Chris Snyder with a solo homer off Harden.

Font hit his 3rd HR of the spring today also. I am really excited to see what he does if given 450 AB's.

While DeRosa played his heart out for the club last year, some are making him out to be some Utility God. I suppose we'd all be more agreeable to the trade if we felt safer with the return haul. Nonetheless, I think the Font will the<b> Courier</b> of good news via his numbers, which will <b>Rockwel</b>l above DeRo's this year. In fact, I expect that he will make Tom's nipples and <b>"Arial-as"</b> hard with excitement.
