Because of that thinking Aramis got screwed of a gold glove in 2007.

10 errors, .972 fielding percentage

21 errors, .954 fielding percentage

Chipper Jones even said how ridiculous it was that Wright won and that it should've been Aramis.

I agree that Gold Gloves are not a hard and fast measure of a fielder's prowess, but if by the age of 28, one guy has won 5 of them, and at the age of 30 the other guy hasn't won any, it's pretty safe to say that the 5GG guy is likely an elite fielder, and the other guy isn't.

I think he's a great fielder because every time I see him play he is amazing. I had no ideas what his numbers look like, i've just seen him play extraordinary defense.

i never said that ramirez was a better field. i did say he's a good fielder though. when it's all said and done, ramirez will be the best thirdbaseman in cubs history, based on fielding and hitting combined. of this, i am completely certain.
