Opening Day: Cubs @ Astros

His spinnaroo swing has so obviously not worked. Why does he still do it?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well that's how I'm pretty sure he's always been swinging and how a lot of the Japanese guys do.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I know it's what he's always done, but it's got to be obvious to him by now that it doesn't work in MLB. He's in the fucking big leagues now. He's got to learn to adjust.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I'm saying I don't know if he can do it any other way. It would be drastically changing your hitting approach, and he's thinking enough right now. To me that's his biggest problem, not his swing. He has no confidence.

He got good contact, but he didn't really get his legs into that swing. We'd be seeing a 5-0 score if he did.

Anyone else notice Ramirez's jersey? His jersey has some white background behind the Cubbie Bear walking through the C. Nobody else that I can see so far has that. Just thought that was kind of odd. I know none of the blue jersey's last year had that either.

Fuk absolutely sucks. Every facet of the game. I know I'm just being reactionary... but he does.

Fukudome is not going to last in center. I am already tired of watching him out there.
