At least he wasn't doing it at home, bro. He's pressing too, that's easy to see.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yep. He's trying to make a good first impression and trying too hard. He's the last guy I'm worried about offensively.

i know it's only three games but so far he reminds me of nomar. an oft-injured player comes to the cubs, lights it up in spring training, and then tanks in the regular season. all we need now is for his groin to explode.

Dude, he was on base 3 or 4 times yesterday without getting a hit. That's a good thing. When he's slumping he can still get on base.

So who does he have to kill for it to qualify as a meltdown? And what if he does 3 of the 4 things mentioned there. I would see that as a meltdown. What if he starts crying and kicking his feet like a little girl haveing a tantrum? Is that meltdowny enough or no?

Pick a date on the Cubs calendar by which Milton will have his first full-blown meltdown as a member of his new team.
What qualifies:
1. See above
2. Going after a player on another team (or the Cubs)
3. Going after an umpire (not arguing, but something akin to the meltdown with the Pads)
4. Like the supreme court said regarding pornography -- you'll know it when you see it
What doesn't qualify:
1. Getting tossed for arguing balls and strikes
2. Arguing with an umpire for a blown call at a base (unless he loses his shit and goes after him)
3. Tossing his helmet (unless it's thrown at someone)
4. Breaking his bat over his knee
You get the idea. I'm talking full-scale meltdown.
And I'm picking June 15.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I guess I'll have to quote the first post in this thread, since nobody seems to remember.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->The umpire who ejected Milton Bradley in his Wrigley Field debut Friday intends to file a report stating that the outfielder made physical contact.
Bradley is in serious danger of being suspended. He struck out looking on a full count pitch and shared a brief, but aggressive, exchange with umpire Dan Iassogna, at one point knocking the ump's hat slightly up his head. The report will be filed with the Commissioner's Office on Saturday. We'll keep you updated.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

That's such bullshit, it was literally a 2 second argument, and he is going to get suspended because he accidentally nudged the umps hat an inch?
