The kid that was on the Chiefs last year and threw the ball towards a dugout and missed completely and hit a fan was indited by a grand jury yesterday.

While I think he certainly deserves whatever he gets, I don't know if 16 years of jail seems to fit the crime.

I love the defense attorney, "the charges aren't justified by the circumstances".....WTF? The guy threw a baseball with intent to HIT someone with it. The problem is that his arm is so terrible that he hit a fan with the ball.

This guy deserves whatever he gets, he will never me a ML pitcher anyways. If he can't control his temper in A-ball then he sure as hell will never succeed at higher levels.

Yeah that's stupid. 16 years is a little bit overkill if you ask me.

People with vehicular manslaughter get less than that. He didn't kill anyone. He was definitely out of control and COULD have possibly killed someone. There's no question there. I think he deserves to see jail time, I'm just not sure 16 years fits the crime.

Shit, now that I think about it alot of people who go to jail for murder don't even end up doing 16 years. I realize he would probably get parolled, but still. that's wild.
