Going to Wed game
#1
with HTC so if anyone is going to be there let me know and we can meet up. We are sitting in sec 134. I am a little concerned about where to park. I usually just stay downtown and always take the el to the game...so it has been a long time since I have parked anywhere near Wrigley. I really don't want to park in the McDonald's, or Taco Bell lots if I don't have to. Any suggestions?

I just drive around the local streets until I find a spot. It beats the hell out of paying a ton and then having your car parked in.
I got nothin'.

i'm an idiot when it comes to directions and such but on either clark or addison, when i drive there, there's free parking on the side of the street for daygames a few blocks down. it's never more than an 8 or so minute walk and it's free, you just have to get there a little early and get your car out by 5 or 6 oclock depending on where you park.
Life is a bitch, but she's totally doable.

So when are you and this game getting married and won't the sheep get jealous?

I normally park in the Illinois Park and Rec lot right off of the highway and snag the bus.

The remote parking at DeVry is pretty convenient also.

I thought about that too but isn't that just for weekend and night games? If it is I wonder if we could still park there and catch a cab from there.

Yeah, that's only for weekend and night games, I guess.

I'll be at the game my friend. If you want to meet up, I'll be the guy with no pants in section 509.

I usually look for a place around Lakewood and Barry (a couple blocks south of Belmont). It's not too long of a walk from there.
The thing you need to remember is that all Cardinals fans and all White Sox fans are very bad people. It's a fact that has been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Being a Cubs fan is the only path to rightousness and piousness. Cardinal and White Sox fans exist to be the dark, diabolical forces that oppose us. They are the yin to our yang, the Joker to our Batman, the demon to our angel, the insurgence to our freedom, the oil to our water, the club to our baby seal. Their happiness occurs only in direct conflict with everything that is pure and good in this world.

I think Barry is the street that our good buddy, phan lives on. I am thinking of looking for a street spot on Grace. I have read of a lot of people finding free street parking there. I may try that first then hit a lot if I can not find a spot.
