Sheesh. Cotts is determined to keep his WHIP in the 3.00 range.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

I think the Shark call comes tomorrow, Cotts is DFA'd.

But the Heilman inning made no sense.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Did Heilman pitch Sat? Maybe he didn't want him to sit too many days
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

The only way that works is if Spellcheck is the 5th starter and Marshall goes to the pen. I cannot believe Lou would have a bullpen with no lefty.
I got nothin'.

Why in the hell is Lou burning Marmol on an ice-cold night with a 5-run lead?

Yeah, I know Cotts sucks. But with Viscaino and Patton, how bad could it be? They've both done decently.

So, I guess we'll see Gregg in the 9th?

I don't mind him using Marmol in that situation, you want to keep a daunting lead in the 9th.
